Most cities in Donetsk and Lugansk regions are ready for the referendum on the region's status. Voting opened.

      The referendum on the self-determination of Ukraine's Donetsk region is held throughout the region, including areas controlled by Ukrainian law enforcers, head of the Central Elections Commission (CEC) of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Roman Lyagin has told Interfax.
