1. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBER/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (#KADUNA STATE): On 31.03.2014 at about 11:00PM, Police Patrol Team along Kaduna-Abuja Expressway intercepted an unregistered motorcycle and recovered one locally-made pistol with 3 cartridges from the male rider. Motorcycle discovered to have been snatched earlier from the owner. Suspect taken into custody, State CID Kaduna is investigating.
2. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERS/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (FCT #ABUJA): On 01.04.2014 at about 3:30PM, upon information, Police operatives intercepted one unregistered Peugeot 406 car with two occupants under #Zuba Flyover. Two AK-47 rifles loaded with sixty (60) rounds of live ammunition were recovered from the suspects at the scene. Suspects arrested and exhibits recovered to the Police station. FCT CID is investigating.
3. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERS/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (#RIVERS STATE): On 02.04.2014 at about 2:30AM, Police Detectives on operation at Omagwa in Ikwere LGA arrested three armed robbery suspects and recovered two locally-made guns and one unregistered Lexus jeep vehicle from the hoodlums. State CID Port-Harcourt is investigating.
4. ARREST OF ARMED ROBBER/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (#BAYELSA STATE): On 03.04.2014 at about 8:00PM, upon a distress call Police Patrol team rushed to Okaka area where a female shop owner raised alarm of robbery. The hoodlum was arrested and one locally-made pistol and knife he used in the attack as well as sum of N40,000 snatched from the victim were all recovered. State CID #Yenagoa is investigating.
5. FOILED ROBBERY/ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERS (#KATSINA STATE): On 01.04.2014 at about 1:00PM, Police patrol team along Zango Feeder road intercepted two suspected armed robbers waiting for whom to attack. Following exhibits were recovered from the suspects at the scene; one locally-made pistol with 4 live cartridges, axe, knives and charms. State CID Katsina is investigating.
6. FOILED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (#LAGOS STATE): On 03.04.2014 at about 11.00PM, upon a distress call Police patrol team rushed to Dopemu Bus-Stop area, hoodlums abandoned one cut-to-size double barrel gun with two cartridges and fled the scene on sighting Police. Exhibit recovered and taken to the Police station, efforts to apprehend suspects being intensified. State CID Panti is investigating.
7. FOILED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (LAGOS STATE) on 04.04.2014 at about 10:30AM, Police operatives intercepted two men at Marwa Taxi Park Maroko area and when searched one locally-made pistol with two live cartridges was recovered. Suspects were looking out for whom to rob. State CID Panti is investigating.
8. FOILED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF WEAPON (#EDO STATE): On 06.04.2014 at about 5:14AM, Police operatives on surveillance Patrol along Benin-Lagos Expressway intercepted a gang of armed hoodlums who were attempting to rob some market women at Aso Rock Junction of the Expressway. Hoodlums immediately fled into the bush as soon as they sighted the Police, two locally-made cut-to-size Double barrel guns, one locally-made Revolver Pistol with four (4) live .9mm ammunition and six (6) live cartridges abandoned by the hoodlums were recovered. No injury reported by any of the market women. Efforts to track down the suspects are being intensified. State CID #Benin is investigating.
9. RECOVERY OF WEAPON/ARREST OF SUSPECTS (#BENUE STATE): On 01.04.2014 at about 9:40PM, upon information, Police arrested three suspects at Ronald Mnyim Filling station area North Bank Makurdi. One locally-made pistol was recovered from the hoodlums at the scene. State CID #Makurdi is investigating.
10. RECOVERY OF WEAPON/ARREST OF SUSPECT (#TARABA STATE): On 03.04.2014 at about 10:00AM, Police Stop and Search Team at Mutum Donga Division intercepted three (3) men and when searched following exhibits were recovered from them; one Revolver pistol with six rounds of live ammunition and one locally-made pistol with two live cartridges. All suspects taken into custody, State CID #Jalingo is investigating.
