GEJ Dumps Gulak as political adviser

President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday terminated the appointment of his Special Adviser on Political Matters, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, announced this on his Twitter page.  Abati said the President thanked Gulak for his services to the current administration and wished him success in his future endeavours.  He however didn't give reason for the sack.

He explained an alternative to Gulak would be announced in due course.
Abati wrote, “President Jonathan has terminated the appointment of his Special Adviser(Political), Alhaji Ahmed A. Gulak with immediate effect.
“President Jonathan thanks Alhaji Gulak for his services to the current administration and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
“A replacement for Alhaji Gulak is likely to be announced in due course.”
