Dolce and Gabba bagged 20-months each for Tax Evasion

Creative Directors of D&G, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been found guilty of tax evasion to the tune of $1.3bn. The verdict was announced this afternoon after hours of consideration by a three-judge panel who chose to uphold last June's guilty verdict that saw the designers both sentenced to 20-months in prison for allegedly committing tax evasion, Vogue UK reports.
The alleged crime is said to have been a consequence of the sale of these Dolce & Gabbana and D&G brands to the Luxembourg-based holding company Gado Srl in 2004......
Dolce & Gabbana have always denied the charges and promptly appealed last year's decision using their legal representative. Nevertheless the appeal has been denied and both men are now actually facing prison time.
