Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) yesterday, Commander Nkwonta said in the US, the states of Washington DC, California and Maryland recognize the Nigerian Driver's license while European countries such as Germany, Turkey, Switzerland, Poland, Spain, Austria and Sweden also recognize the Nigerian Drivers License. He said the license can be used in these places for a period of time, after which their own licenses would be issued.
He said these countries have the security measures to detect whether a presented Nigerian License is fake or original. He said efforts are being made for more states in the US to accept the use of our national drivers license there.

ReplyDeleteDid you read the post wella ? It says you can use it for some time until their National DL is issued. Just like in Dutch-land. If police stop you first that you are using Nigerian drivers license. They wont arrest you, they will write your name in their system. After six month if they catch you again using the same DL,you car will be tolled to their police station.
