Was Miley’s Christmas-themed performance too much?
Miley Cyrus Performing at the Kiis FM Jingle Ball Concert. Miley Cyrus could be getting a lump of coal in her Christmas stocking since the 21 year-old singer-actress was yet again being naughty not nice. The audience might have been singing “I saw Miley twerking Santa Claus” at radio station KIIS FM's 203 Jingle Ball this past Friday night at the Staples Center in L.A., California. Singing a block of her hit songs with a microphone decorated like a candy cane, the controversial crooner couldn't stop at tasteful as she twerked and grinded on an obviously jolly Kris Kringle clone.
Cyrus was se-xily suited in a red sequined top, bikini booty bottoms with white faux fur cuffs and clunky black boot-like shoes. She also wore a black and white Chanel bag which various online sources indicate hid some sort of brown-bagged alcoholic beverage.
Her performance had begun tamely enough with a vintage clip from A Charlie Brown Christmas and backing dancers donned in Donner apparel of white tights and reindeer antlers. Cyrus seemed to be happy to be there and cried out to the crowd: “I'm super excited for Christmas and I'm stoked to be here...! ”
Cyrus also sang such selections as “Get It Right”, “Adore You”, “Party in the U.S.A.” as well as her own adaptation of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness.” The performance’s end-note was, of course, the rather expected requisite “Wrecking Ball”.
