Just in: Nigerian Police Clogged Amaechi From Entering Government Home In P/H + PHOTOS




This is another Ọmọ Oódua exclusive you don't get to see else where  . ...  The politics in Rivers state is getting dirtier A police detachment in Port Harcourt has prevented the convoy of the Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi from using one of the two entrances to the government house earlier today.
The governor's convoy was stopped as it made it way to through the Fortes road entrance by four truck loads of policemen led by several senior officers.

Ọmọ Oódua learnt that An argument ensued between the policemen and the governor's aides as they claimed they were acting on orders from above. The governor later came down to speak with the police officers who promised to extract a reversal of the order from their superiors in Abuja. The governor's convoy had to wait for 45 minutes before finally detouring to take the Azikiwe road entrance to to the government house.

  1. Political brouhaha! Unheard of! D Gov has every rite 2 choose wich way 2 follow. He may hv sensed insecurity at d main gate & decided 2 take d private gate. All d police needed 2 do was to accompany him & made sure he was secured. Eg. If d president decides 2 go 2 his home town from Abuja on land, wo will question him. His security details will make sure(even if it requires sacrificing their lives) he gets home safe & sound. Summarily, I c notin wrong in d Gov taking d private gate 2 his residence, let's 4get politics & "call a spade a spade"
