Real Sh*t & Urine sold in Ho Municipality, Finland

The Ho Municipality has begun an apparently bizarre policy where residents trade faeces and urine for cash.  The dry toilet technology is an initiative from the University of Applied in Finland where faecal matters are changed into manure for purposes of growing vegetables.  The urine is separated from the faeces and permitted to decompose for about 6-12 months. Saw dust is utilized in treating the faeces in a separate chamber to speed up dehydration.  Residents are ready to cash-in on the new initiative. Officials of the Municipality tell Joy News they will utilize the initiative to tackle open defecation locally and also produce manure to improve agriculture in the country.
