Over 120 dead in Chinese plant fire

More than 120 people died in a fire at a poultry processing plant in Jilin Province in northeast China with 70 more people injured. The fire started at the plant on Monday morning when at least 300 people were working at the location. The plant is owned by the company "Baoyuanfen".   Witnesses say they heard several explosions and then black smoke and flames quickly engulfed the building. Due to gates being locked only about a hundred people were able to immediately get out. Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is currently on a trip to Latin America, has demanded a thorough investigation into the tragedy and to know the identify of those responsible.
