Meet The Chinese Man That Lives With Snakes In The Zoo (photos)

A zoo owner in the Philippines has taken the rather drastic step of sleeping with his collection of snakes as he prepares to usher in the Chinese ‘Year of the Snake’.
Emmanuel Tangco appears to have a rather unusual relationship with the reptiles and has been pictured covered in the snakes at Malabon zoo in Malabon, Metro Manila.

One image shows Mr Tangco reading to his snakes in bed, while another shows him covered in them in a pool at the zoo, as crowds look on and photograph the unusual scene.
The Year of the Snake commences on Sunday February 10 and a number of zoos around the world are using the occasion to let members of the public get closer to the reptiles.
Oregon zoo, for example, is offering free admission on Sunday and staff will be allowing visitors to experience ‘up-close encounters with various snakes’.
The offer is one Mr Tangcon may decide to miss as he appears to have his hands full enough at the moment…
