FMBN To Inaugurate The Construction Of 4000 Housing Estate In Bwari





Mr Gimba Yau-Kumo, the Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), has restated the government’s commitment to curbing the challenges of housing deficit in the country.
The FMBN will on Tuesday in Usafa, Bwari Area Council of the FCT, launch the construction of an estate known as ``Sen Bala Mohammed Housing Estate”.



This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Dauda Yusuf  Head, Corporate Affairs, FMBN and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Monday.

`` The estate comprises of 4000 housing units which will be allocated to the staff of Federal Government and agencies situated in Bwari,'' it stated.

Yau-Kumo said the aim of building the houses was to provide cheaper and affordable houses as part of the transformation agenda of the Federal Government.

The project will be financed by the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and be completed in 18 months.

``The estate will consist of very comfortable and tastefully designed one, two, three and four bedroom houses.

``Facilities to be provided in the estate include good road network, water supply, schools, shopping centre, clinic, police post, out-door sports centre as well as a mosque and a church,’’ it stated. (NAN)
