Nollywood Actress, Bisi Komolafe Dies





Another tragedy has just hit Nollywood; one of the finest actresses, Bisi Komolafe is said to have died yesterday night at UCH, Ibadan.
The cause of her death according to report is that she had complications with her four months pregnancy which resulted in a miscarriage.

It's indeed a black new year eve for the make-believe industry!

We were informed by a reliable source that the comic actor gave up the ghost yesterday. All effort to call Otolo has been futile. Most of the Nollywood stakeholders we tried to question about the situation could not give any concrete answer as they seem not to be informed about it.

Nollywood Actress, Ngozi Nwosu Is Sick And Needs Help





House of Fuji Commotion Star, Ngozi Nwosu who has been battling with a kidney related ailment is still very much sick and needs help. Mr Seun Oloketuyi was on the 'who wants to be a millionaire' show yesterday and won N1m on her behalf. Ngozi is suffering from a kidney related ailment.
Those who know the once robust and lively actress couldn't stop shedding tears as she was brought into the game show premises yesterday.

“It is stupidity to spend your last penny buying your pastor a jet” – Nollywood actor, Mr. Ibu. Do you Agree?





Popular comic actor, John Okafor, more popular as Mr. Ibu, had waded into the debate about pastors owing private jets and living lavish lifestyles.

Mr. Ibu took to his Facebook page to express his opinions, and called people who donate their last penny to fund the purchase of private jets, as ‘stupid’.

“STUPIDITY is when you don’t have a bicycle and you give your last penny to your pastor to buy a jet…….” he wrote.

“IGNORANCE is when you believe it when your pastor tells you not to live a worldly life, yet he enjoys all the best things in the world;the fine houses, cars, jets, babes etc, while you
are waiting till you get to heaven to enjoy your own….”
He ended his post with: “Stop worshiping your pastors!!! Stay focused on Jesus The author and finisher of your Faith.And learn to study the word .#Somebody shout halleluyahhhhhh”

Pregnant Nollywood Actress Silifa Ladeji Beaten to Death by Lover





Information reaching Edeson ONLINE News from the Yoruba movie industry, otherwise known as ANTP, indicates that one of the fast rising actresses, Silifa Ladeji famously known as Silifonia, was on Wednesday beaten to death by her lover during a misunderstanding. A close friend of the late Silifonia, who is also an actress, said that Silifonia who was heavily pregnant before her sudden demise had been a victim of battery and assault in the hands of her lover. We gathered that the suspect is currently at large, while the corpse of Silifonia has been deposited at an undisclosed mortuary. may her soul rest in peace.

The multiple award-winning actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has been recognised with a special honorary award BEFFTA FILM ICON for her contribution to film industry in Africa, Europe and globally. BEFFTA(Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) awards is Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating achievements of black and ethnic personalities in showbiz globally.
